As principal contractor The McAvoy Group was responsible for leading the project from feasibility approval, outline and then detailed design through to planning and delivery of all internal and external aspects of the challenging and complex scheme.

The McAvoy Group was responsible for the design, construction, commissioning and programme of Ocean Academy Poole An Aspirations Academy, which accommodates 340 pupils. It completed the structure in 62-weeks, from concept to reality.

An extension at West Hill School – an Ofsted outstanding special school – was required to accommodate the change from secondary education provision to a 2FE primary school.
