The offsite solution
To meet the ambitious timeline, McAvoy efficiently delivered a QSpace unit, with 85% of the work completed at their 70,000 sqft manufacturing facility, before being transported to site where it was installed and ready to use within just one day. The use of a QSpace solution ensured minimal disruption on site and meant the building could be operational in line with the opening of
the new industrial zone.
The QSpace solution was customised to include bespoke cedar cladding finish, as requested by the client to ensure the building was visually appealing within the industrial landscape.
The building was delivered with pre-installed plumbing, electrics, internal partitioning sanitaryware, flooring and cladding. Carrying out the majority of works offsite ensured on-site works were minimal, further reducing the potential for disruption.
The new security building includes a dedicated office area for security personnel, public counter area, as well as toilet facilities with shower and wash basins.
