The McAvoy Group has been shortlisted for their work on the Dublin Airport Pre-Boarding Zone project at this year’s BIM Awards at BIM Show Live. The BIM Awards honour excellence in digital construction, representing the full spectrum of today’s modern methods of construction. Finalists in this category provide demonstrable evidence of projects upon which they have used BIM and how this has been delivered.
The nomination comes on the back of McAvoy being awarded Best Virtual Reality BIM at the third annual RICS BIM4SME Awards in 2017. This award was for the design and delivery of a two-storey primary school building for children with special educational needs at West Hill School for Surrey County Council.
The McAvoy Group continues to lead the offsite industry in its commitment to digitising construction and its innovative use of virtual reality.
The awards ceremony at BIM Show Live will take place on Tuesday 27 February 2018 in Newcastle upon Tyne.
