The McAvoy Group has been shortlisted for two awards at the Offsite Construction Awards 2017.
McAvoy’s construction of Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy in Slough has been nominated for the following;
- Best Hybrid Construction Project
- Education Project of the Year
The three storey secondary school, delivered under the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework and funded by the Education Funding Agency (EFA), covers a floor area of 8718m² and includes a four court sports hall, playing fields, a multi-use games area as well as new car parking areas and landscaping. The project has been completed on budget and 17 weeks ahead of programme. 65% of the total build area was constructed offsite.
The awards ceremony will take place at a ‘Drinks and Nibbles Reception’ on 13th June at 240 Blackfriars, London, were The McAvoy Group will also sponsor the Healthcare Project of the Year Award. The full list of shortlisted finalists can be viewed on the Offsite Awards website.
